A person involved in the decision tells The Associated Press that the NHL will announce a Heritage Classic outdoor game between the Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers at a news conference on Sunday. The Jets are expected to host the 2016 Heritage Classic at Investors Group Field, home of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. Winnipeg had been scheduled to host an outdoor game during the 2015-16 season, but the NHL couldn't come to an agreement with the Blue Bombers.
