Blues outlast Blackhawks in shootout for 4th straight win (Yahoo Sports)

Kevin Shattenkirk scored the decisive goal in the sixth round of the shootout to lift the St. Louis Blues to a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night for their fourth straight win. David Backes and Troy Brouwer scored in the third period for the Blues and Jake Allen stopped 33 shots through overtime to earn his 22nd win of the season. Patrik Berglund and Troy Brouwer also had goals in the tiebreaker.
