Carter scores in OT, Kings rebound for 4-3 win over Caps (Yahoo Sports)

The Los Angeles Kings took an early three-goal lead and then gave it all back to the Washington Capitals in the third period. Jeff Carter made sure the Kings edged the NHL leaders in a thriller that might have a little extra meaning in a few months. ''If we want to win the Cup, there's a good chance we'll have to go through them,'' Carter said.
