Earthquakes-Galaxy Preview (The Associated Press)
Chris Wondolowski scored again and David Bingham came within minutes of his second straight shutout as the short-handed San Jose Earthquakes secured their best start in franchise history last weekend. Wondolowski scored in his second straight game Sunday, a 2-1 victory over Portland, and moved within three goals of tying Ante Razov for fourth on MLS' all-time list with 111. Bingham didn't let the Timbers on the scoreboard until the 89th minute as San Jose opened with back-to-back wins for the first time in its 19 seasons.
