F Marcus Kruger agrees to contract extension with Blackhawks (Yahoo Sports)
Injured forward Marcus Kruger has agreed to a $9.25 million, three-year contract extension with the Chicago Blackhawks that runs through the 2018-19 season. The 25-year-old Kruger had left wrist surgery in December, but is expected to return before the start of the playoffs. Kruger, a fifth-round pick in the 2009 draft, signed a one-year deal before this season.
