Korpikoski, Talbot lift Oilers past Jets 2-1 (Yahoo Sports)

Lauri Korpikoski scored the go-ahead goal late in the second period and Cam Talbot made 39 saves as the Edmonton Oilers edged the Winnipeg Jets 2-1 on Sunday night. Patrick Maroon also scored for Edmonton, which moved out of last place in the Western Conference - one point ahead of Calgary and tied with Winnipeg with 59 points. Mark Scheifele scored the lone goal for Winnipeg, a day after his first career NHL hat trick.
