Orlando City-New York City FC Preview (The Associated Press)
As the second-year franchises look to take a step forward, New York City FC and Orlando City SC have important pieces to build around in two of MLS' top scorers from last season. All eyes figure to be on New York's David Villa and Orlando's Cyle Larin on Friday night when Villa looks to stay hot at Yankee Stadium and lead NYCFC to the best start in its brief history. Although New York City (1-0-1) finished seven points behind Orlando City (0-0-2) and 12 out of a playoff spot during its inaugural season, Villa certainly lived up to expectations after signing as a free transfer from Atletico Madrid to become the first player in club history.
