Pappa's stoppage-time goal lifts Rapids over Galaxy 1-0 (The Associated Press)
Marco Pappa scored in the 95th and final minute to give the Colorado Rapids a 1-0 victory over the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday night in their home opener. Colorado's Kevin Doyle sent a high-arching chip pass into the area and Galaxy defender Daniel Steres attempted the clear it away. Pappa entered the game as a substitute for Dominique Badji in 67th minute.
