Report: Beam collapses at Volgograd World Cup stadium (The Associated Press)
A metal support beam at a stadium being built for the 2018 World Cup in the Russian city of Volgograd has collapsed during construction work, according to state news agency Tass. The extent of damage to the stadium was not immediately clear. A spokeswoman for the Stroytransgaz company building the stadium, Maria Rudenko, tells Tass that the beam collapsed under the weight of concrete being poured, but that no one was injured.
