Timbers-Earthquakes Preview (The Associated Press)

The Timbers will attempt to open with back-to-back victories for the first time Sunday while also continuing their recent mastery of the San Jose Earthquakes. Portland topped Columbus 2-1 last Sunday in a rematch of last season's MLS Cup championship, and Fanendo Adi provided the tiebreaking goal in the 79th minute for just the Timbers' second March victory in team history.
