West Ham United-Chelsea Preview (The Associated Press)
Saturday's encounter between Chelsea and West Ham United could go some way to deciding whether European football graces the Olympic Stadium next season. After a dalliance with the qualifying rounds this campaign, the Hammers (13-10-6) are in pursuit of a first appearance in a UEFA competition proper since falling to Palermo at the first hurdle in 2006. It would befit the home of the 2012 Olympics to host continental competition, and the Hammers are doing all within their powers to bring Europa League nights at the very least to their new residence.
