Kennedy Igboananike scored early in the second half and the Chicago Fire beat the 10-man Philadelphia Union 1-0 on Saturday in blustery conditions. Igboananike settled a ball with pace from Michael Harrington in the 51st minute and slid a shot inside the far post. Chicago (1-1-2) won just its second game in 12 matches dating to last season while Philadelphia (2-2-0) had its two-game winning streak stopped.
