Mendoza breaks tie in 73rd, NYC beats Whitecaps 3-2 (The Associated Press)

NEW YORK (AP) -- Steven Mendoza broke a tie in the 73rd minute and New York City FC beat the Vancouver Whitecaps 3-2 on Saturday to snap a seven-game winless streak.
