A stunning free kick from Andros Townsend gave Newcastle a vital 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday and boosted its hopes of survival in the English Premier League. ''It could be a massive three points,'' said Townsend. Former Newcastle player Yohan Cabaye had a penalty saved by Karl Darlow, following a handball from Papiss Cisse.
