Timbers-Revolution Preview (The Associated Press)
While the Portland Timbers won't have their top playmaker - and perhaps also as many as three other starters - Wednesday night, the New England Revolution have suffered a major blow to their back line. The Revolution expect to play for the first time without left back Chris Tierney as these teams match up at Gillette Stadium. Portland (2-3-2) will play without the suspended Diego Valeri, who was ejected with a second yellow card late in a 3-1 victory over San Jose on April 16.
