Dynamo-Earthquakes Preview (The Associated Press)
After being shut out for the first time this season, the San Jose Earthquakes seek better results against one of MLS' more generous defensive teams. The Houston Dynamo were strong on that end last time out, however, giving the struggling club some sorely needed momentum entering Wednesday night's visit to Northern California. The Earthquakes missed a golden opportunity to extend the streak when rewarded a penalty kick while down 1-0 in the 84th minute, but the usually dependable Chris Wondolowski's attempt struck the woodwork.
