Everton-Sunderland Preview (The Associated Press)
The managers come and go at Sunderland, but come springtime, their challenge is always the same. Sam Allardyce was the latest to accept the challenge, and a win over downtrodden Everton at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday will seal another season in the top flight for the Black Cats. Since their last promotion to the Premier League for the 2007-08 season, Sunderland (8-11-17) have finished better than 13th just once and anywhere from 14th to 17th five times in those eight seasons.
