(Reuters) - FIFA has been told to reconsider Gibraltar's application for membership, after the British territory's soccer association partially won an appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), but stopped short of directly awarding it membership. The Gibraltar FA (GFA) appealed against a FIFA executive committee ruling in 2014 that rejected its application, saying that the requirements for admission were not met. The GFA had argued that its application was "improperly rejected", CAS said in its summary.
