Horan and Heath score in Thorns' 4-1 victory over the Spirit (The Associated Press)

Lindsey Horan scored her third goal of the season and the Portland Thorns beat the Washington Spirit 4-1 on Saturday night in the National Women's Soccer League. It was the first loss of the season for the Spirit, who sit atop the NWSL standings at 4-1-1. Portland is undefeated at 3-0-3.
