Louis van Gaal's highs and lows at Man United (The Associated Press)
Louis van Gaal's time as Manchester United manager came to an end on Monday after two seasons at the club. The decision will likely be welcomed by United supporters, with a growing number becoming disenchanted with his low risk, defensive-orientated style of play. Van Gaal spent almost $375 million in transfers at Old Trafford and won one trophy - the FA Cup in what proved to be his last match in charge.
