Mexico soccer's Pulido, striker for Olympiakos, rescued after kidnap (Reuters)

Mexican soccer player Alan Pulido has been rescued hours after the striker for the Greek soccer team Olympiakos was kidnapped in the restive northeastern state of Tamaulipas, the state government said early on Monday. "Soccer player Alan Pulido has been rescued safe and sound," the Tamaulipas government said on its Twitter page.
