Revamp of English soccer leagues proposed (The Associated Press)
English soccer's domestic league structure could be reorganized into five divisions containing a total of 100 clubs in a proposed revamp starting from the 2019-20 season. The Football League, which runs the three leagues below the Premier League, has sent out a discussion document to clubs outlining the proposals, which stem from ''English football's collective concerns'' about fixture congestion. The domestic league system would be reorganized into five divisions - including a new ''League Three'' - of 20 teams.
