Sounders-D.C. United Preview (The Associated Press)
The Seattle Sounders continue to endure some major road woes as they get ready to face an opponent that hasn't scored against them in 488 minutes. The Sounders have posted five straight shutouts in an unbeaten run against D.C. United heading into Wednesday night's matchup of short-handed teams. Seattle's Clint Dempsey is with the United States and Nelson Valdez with Paraguay while D.C. is without U.S. defender Steve Birnbaum and Costa Rican forward Alvaro Saborio.
