Algerian club Setif thrown out of African Champions League (The Associated Press)
Algerian club Entente Setif has been thrown out of the African Champions League for fan trouble that caused a game to be called off and left spectators and security officials injured. The Confederation of African Football disqualified the two-time African champion following the problems near the end of last weekend's game against Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa. With Sundowns leading 2-0 in injury time, fans invaded the field and threw bottles, stones and firecrackers.
