Austria slumped to a 2-0 loss to the Netherlands in its final warmup before the European Championship on Saturday. Poor defending by the hosts allowed striker Vincent Janssen to open the scoring in the ninth minute, and Georginio Wijnaldum doubled the lead in the 66th after being set up by Luuk de Jong, who replaced Janssen a minute earlier. Austria dominated the opening half hour, looking versatile in attack with lots of movement and quick passing.
