Earthquakes-Fire preview (The Associated Press)
The San Jose Earthquakes seek their first road win of the season and the Chicago Fire will take any kind of positive result to help dig out of a deep hole as the teams meet Friday in a Major League Soccer match at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill. The Earthquakes (5-4-7, 22 points) are tied for seventh in the Western Conference and make their first visit to Chicago since 2013. The Fire (2-7-5, 11 points) are mired in the Eastern Conference cellar and haven't won an MLS match since May 21, a 1-0 decision over Houston.
