Ronald Koeman quits Southampton to take charge of Everton (The Associated Press)
Ronald Koeman has been hired to manage Everton after quitting English Premier League rival Southampton. The 53-year-old former Barcelona player had only a year remaining on his contract at Southampton, which he has led to seventh and sixth place in his two years in charge. Koeman has signed a three-year contract at Everton.
