Timbers-Real Salt Lake Preview (The Associated Press)
Fortune has not favored Real Salt Lake at home against the Portland Timbers in recent seasons. Real Salt Lake comes into Saturday's match looking to snap a three-game losing streak on its home pitch to the reigning MLS Cup champions in league play. Since ending Salt Lake's 11 game unbeaten streak in the series in June 2014, the Timbers (5-6-4) have changed the direction of the rivalry.
