Leicester says striker Jamie Vardy has agreed to extend his contract with the English Premier League champion by four years. Arsenal activated Vardy's release clause before the European Championship, but Leicester's top scorer stayed silent publicly on his future. Now it appears the 29-year-old England striker will stay at the surprise first-time English champion, although Leicester's statement did not say the new contract had been signed.
