Column: Euro 2016 final again proves football's cruelty (The Associated Press)

Cruel because Cristiano Ronaldo had to watch the victory of his life - at least one of them - from the sidelines. Portugal's name, for the first time, is now engraved on a major trophy. Truth is, Portugal played better without him.
