Dynamo-Galaxy preview (The Associated Press)
The LA Galaxy have found their groove since the return of star forward Robbie Keane from Euro 2016 and will look to improve their third-place standing in the Western Conference when they host the Houston Dynamo on Friday at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. The Galaxy have won both matches since Keane's return, including a 1-0 road victory at Seattle on July 9 in which the Irish star scored the game's lone goal. The Galaxy (7-3-8, 29 points) easily handled Houston in the first matchup of the year between the two sides, winning 4-1 at BBVA Compass Stadium as forward Giovani dos Santos scored a pair of goals and set up a third.
