FIFA ethics court wants 4-year ban for Thai official Makudi (The Associated Press)
FIFA ethics prosecutors want former executive committee member Worawi Makudi of Thailand banned for at least four years for election forgery and other misconduct. The investigations unit of the FIFA ethics committee says it sent a case file to the judging chamber which can impose punishments, and also requested a 25,000 Swiss franc ($25,500) fine. Makudi was previously found guilty in a Thai court for forgery in his 2013 re-election to lead the national soccer federation.
