Keane and Larentowicz score, Galaxy beat Whitecaps 2-0 (The Associated Press)
Robbie Keane and Jeff Larentowicz scored, Steven Gerrard assisted both, and the Los Angeles Galaxy beat the Vancouver Whitecaps 2-0 on Monday night. Keane opened the scoring in the 12th minute, taking Gerrard's feed near the penalty arc and bending a right-footed shot into the top right corner. Larentowicz headed home Gerrard's corner in the 47th minute and the Galaxy (6-3-8) held on after Nigel de Jong was sent off in the 74th minute due to a serious foul.
