Rangers sign Chris Kreider to 4-year, $18.5M contract (Yahoo Sports)

The New York Rangers signed forward Chris Kreider to a four-year contract worth $18.5 million through the 2020 season on Friday. General manager Jeff Gorton announced the deal, which will pay him an average of $4.6 million, on the day the two sides were to go to arbitration. The 25-year-old Kreider was a restricted free agent.
