While Real Salt Lake searches for any kind of traction on the road, the Philadelphia Union are seeking to restore some pride after an embarrassing defeat. Real Salt Lake (8-7-6) is coming off a 1-1 draw at home on July 22 against San Jose, equalizing in the 64th minute off the left foot of Luke Mulholland. Philadelphia (8-6-7) was routed 5-1 on July 23 in Montreal, falling victim to Didier Drogba's hat trick.
