Sounders sign Alvaro Fernandez for second stint with club (The Associated Press)
The Seattle Sounders have signed midfielder Alvaro Fernandez for a second stint with the club. The Sounders announced the Uruguayan standout's signing Thursday. The 30-year-old previously spent parts of three seasons with Seattle from 2010-12, during which he appeared in 55 MLS matches and scored 13 goals for the Sounders.
