Dallas-Houston preview (The Associated Press)
FC Dallas might be leading the Supporters Shield standings as the best team in MLS this season with eight matches left to play, but the first two battles with the Houston Dynamo in the Texas Derby have shown a chink in the armor of the league leaders. It remains to be seen if that gives the homestanding Dynamo a leg up of their Lone Star State rivals when the two sides battle for the third time this season on Saturday night at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston. Houston is 5-10-10 and has a Western Conference-low 25 points through its 25 matches, but one of the wins and one of the draws it earned this season were against FC Dallas, which leads the league with 45 points.
