Earthquakes-Revolution preview (The Associated Press)
Two teams that are trying to make a playoff push will clash when the San Jose Earthquakes play host to the New England Revolution on Wednesday at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, Calif. San Jose (7-7-10) is seventh in Major League Soccer's Western Conference with 31 points. The Earthquakes are just one point behind the sixth-place Portland Timbers for the conference's final playoff spot.
