Galaxy-Whitecaps preview (The Associated Press)
The Los Angeles Galaxy will try to remain unbeaten at home and improve its playoff position when they plays host to the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. Los Angeles (9-4-12) is fourth in Major League Soccer's Western Conference with 39 points, just one point behind third-place Real Salt Lake and six points behind first-place FC Dallas. The Galaxy, which is 6-0-6 at home this season, is 0-1-4 in its last five matches after playing the Chicago Fire to a 2-2 draw earlier this week.
