Hull City tops Swansea, continues strong start (The Associated Press)
Hull City continued their impressive start to the season as late goals from Shaun Maloney and Abel Hernandez gave the Tigers a 2-0 win at Swansea City on Saturday. Swansea started brightly and came close to opening the scoring after six minutes when Gylfi Sigurdsson found space on the edge of the box and fired fiercely, but Eldin Jakupovic managed to get fingers to it and push it onto the bar. Hull City responded to Swansea City's confident start and should have led after 15 minutes, but Adama Diomande failed to hit the target after creating a great chance for himself after some nice work in the box.
