Impact-Toronto FC preview (The Associated Press)
The rivalry between Toronto FC and the Montreal Impact might be the best in Major League Soccer. The cities, separated by about 330 miles of highway, have been rivals for generations on many levels, including hockey where the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens have a long, intense, history. Toronto (12-7-7) surged to the top of the Eastern Conference standings Wednesday with 43 points after a 2-1 victory at Orlando to continue as the hottest team in MLS.
