Newly acquired midfielder Darwin Ceren will be available for the San Jose Earthquakes when they play host to New York City FC on Friday at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, Calif. New York City (10-7-6) sits atop Major League Soccer's Eastern Conference standings with 36 points, three points ahead of second-place Toronto FC. San Jose (6-6-9) is eighth in the Western Conference with 27 points, two points behind the seventh-place Portland Timbers.
