Red Bulls-United preview (The Associated Press)
The New York Red Bulls carry a seven-game unbeaten streak into the nation's capital when they square off with DC United on Sunday afternoon at RFK Stadium in a battle between a pair of MLS's original sides. The Red Bulls (10-9-6, 36 points) are currently third in the Eastern Conference behind New York City and Toronto FC while United is tied for the sixth, and final, playoff position in the conference table with 11 matches to play. For the Red Bulls, Bradley Wright-Phillips scored a pair of goals and forged his league-leading fifth multiple-goal game of the season as New York beat the Montreal Impact 3-1 on Aug. 14 at Red Bull Arena.
