West Ham signs Italy forward Zaza on loan from Juventus (The Associated Press)
West Ham has signed Italy forward Simone Zaza on loan from Juventus for a fee of 5 million euros ($5.6 million) as the club's 11th recruit of the transfer window. West Ham said Sunday a permanent fee of 20 million euros ($22.4 million) will be triggered automatically after a certain number of Premier League appearances this season. Zaza played for Italy in the European Championship, missing a penalty after a stuttering run-up in the country's shootout loss to Germany in the quarterfinals.
