Cazorla powers Arsenal past Southampton (The Associated Press)
Santi Cazorla's stoppage-time penalty proved to be the difference on Saturday as Arsenal pulled out a 2-1 victory over Southampton at Emirates Stadium. Manager Arsene Wenger handed starts to his newest transfer buys as Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez both made their debuts for the Gunners. The hosts were sloppy early on and paid the price in the 18th minute as Dusan Tadic ripped a free kick from the left flank off the crossbar, and it rolled in off the back of Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech to give the visitors a deserved 1-0 lead.
