Christian Benteke scores as Palace earns 1st league win (The Associated Press)

Christian Benteke scored in his first Premier League match for Crystal Palace before being replaced by his brother as the Eagles beat Middlesbrough 2-1 Saturday. The Belgian striker struck against newly-promoted Middlesbrough with a powerful header in the 16th minute, after Wilfried Zaha's cross. Middlesbrough drew level in the 38th when Daniel Ayala headed Stewart Downing's cross into the top corner.
