The Champions League match between Manchester City and Borussia Moenchengladbach has been called off following heavy rain and thunder in Manchester. City said the decision was made to call off the game because of ''adverse weather conditions.'' There had been heavy rain and thunder in the hours leading up to the game, and UEFA officials and match officials inspected the playing surface about an hour before the game.
