Antoine Griezmann came through again to lift Atletico Madrid to a 1-0 win over Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday that tightened the Spanish league's early title race. Griezmann netted his fifth goal in six rounds this season with 20 minutes to play at Vicente Calderon Stadium, finally breaking down a Deportivo side that played the entire second half with 10 men. The France forward tapped in a squared pass from substitute Kevin Gameiro, who had beaten the offside trap to reach a throughball from Juanfran Torres.
