(Reuters) - Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has been rested for Thursday's Europa League clash with Feyenoord, manager Jose Mourinho said on Wednesday. Rooney has played in all of United's Premier League games this season and also captained England in their World Cup qualifying win over Slovakia earlier this month. Mourinho said he wanted to keep his 30-year-old captain Rooney fresh for Sunday's league game at Watford.
