Timbers' Jack Jewsbury to retire at season's end (The Associated Press)

Portland Timbers midfielder Jack Jewsbury will retire at the end of this season after 14 seasons in Major League Soccer. Jewsbury made the announcement at the Timbers' annual Stand Together Banquet on Sunday night. The 35-year-old has played for the Timbers for the past six seasons, including last season when Portland won the MLS Cup championship.
